McDermott, Northwest Health Law Advocates joined thousands in the Health Care for All in 2009 - Mothers Leading the Way rally and march May 30, 2009 in Seattle, Washington. Over 200 organizations joined forces to send one message, our health care system is broken and the time has come to create a new system that provides everyone access to health care.
Crossing under I-5 into downtown Seattle, NoHLA marches with individuals and organizations from around the state to demand health care NOW and raise the call to the national level: "Obama, escucha, estamos en la lucha" (Obama, listen, we are in the fight).
